1. During pulse cleaning, it is recommended to install a wastewater buffer device to prevent wastewater from splashing or clogging the drainage system;

2. After cleaning in winter, the floor needs 1–2 days to retain and release heat; the temperature should rise gradually—do not expect it to heat up immediately after cleaning;

3. Never attempt this yourself! Underfloor heating cleaning is a technical task; it is safer to hire professionals to avoid damaging the pipes;

4. Do not set the heating temperature too high; generally, 55°C is sufficient—high temperatures accelerate scale buildup and are not energy-efficient;

5. Choose oxygen-barrier pipes during installation to slow the accumulation of impurities in the water and reduce scaling at the source;

6. If the underfloor heating is not in use during winter and the indoor temperature drops below 5°C, use an air compressor to blow the water out of the coils or add antifreeze to prevent pipes from freezing and cracking;

7. Do not believe the myth that “newly installed underfloor heating must be flushed first”—as long as you hire a reputable HVAC company, the pipes will be clean after installation, and there is no need for additional flushing.
